After having missed two races due to a foot fracture (and subsequent operation) sustained at Mugello, Loris Baz is ready to get back on his Ducati at Sachsenring. The Frenchman has tried to recover as well as possible from the injury and, despite the fact he's still suffering some pain, he should be able to race without too much trouble.
“I’m really happy about coming back after my injury - says the Avintia rider - My foot is much better now, it’s not at 100% and still painful, but I can’t wait any more to jump back on my bike. My aim for this weekend is to get the feeling back and then to try to ride the best possible race. I don’t want to take risks this weekend, my goal will be just to ride my bike and to get back on the pace".
After the German round, Baz will call in at the Red Bull Ring with his team.
“We’ll have a test in Austria after the race, and I’m sure these two days will be really helpful for us”, he concludes.
