The Argentinian Grand Prix has a certain appeal in that it's a little like stepping back in time, seeing the fans camped out around the track and wandering through the all-night parties taking place in the city. The local public clearly loves the MotoGP and the adventure is set to continue.

The GP will take place at Termas de Rio Hondo for a further three years, as announced today, with an agreement having been reached between Dorna, the Argentinian Ministry for Tourism, the Government of Santiago del Estero and OSD, the local promoter.

Carmelo Ezpeleta, Dorna CEO, commented: “we're very pleased that the parties have been able to come to an agreement. South America is very passionate about motorsport and we're proud to continue to bring MotoGP to Argentina for a further three years".
