Spies: coming back? My shoulder says no

Spies: coming back? My shoulder says no - GPOne.comBen Spies has watched the Qatar GP from home, commenting via twitter the performances of his former colleagues. Unfortunately at the end of the last season the Texan rider was forced to announce his, temporary, retirement, due to his injured shoulder’ bad conditions.

His fans didn’t forget him and asked him why he doesn’t come back, even on a Open machine, to challenge his countrymen Hayden and Edwards. "Because my shoulder won’t stay attached. It’s already held on by allograft tendons. Just in not in my control anymore unfortunately", he answered, leaving not many hopes to see him back on track. Ben consoles himself with the bicycle, his second great passion so much so that he own a cycling team.
