Hayden: Rossi never gave up
"We have a couple of small updates to try, but it takes time to prepare new parts - the Kentucky Kid said - The new bike should be ready for the Jerez or Sepang tests. I don't know Dovizioso very well, but he's very experienced and I'm expecting some good ideas from him as a teammate. I'm also curious to see how the GP12 performs at this track with the new asphalt. It should be better than Phillip Island, where the bumps were a big problem for us."
The American was also asked about the departure of his current teammate, Valentino Rossi: "It's no secret that Valentino is leaving - Hayden continued - I was his teammate at both Honda and Ducati, in two very different situations, and I must say that he is a class act. Especially the way he dealt with our difficulties in these years: not many riders with his level of success would have done the same. It's also not right that some have said he isn't tying. Just look at how many times he has crashed; a rider crashes when he is pushing to the limit and beyond, trying to improve."
