Barberà on Hayden's Ducati at Jerez
We still haven't received official confirmation - assuming it will ever be provided - but it looks very likely that Hector Barberà will test the Ducati GP12 next week at Jerez, in place of the injured Nicky Hayden. The test team will be in action with Franco Battaini, but they need a regular race rider to evaluate some new components, and the Kentucky Kid is still recovering from his recent shoulder surgery. This left the Italian manufacturer to turn to the Spaniard, who was quite fast during the recent Sepang test session.
The MotoGP machines will probably be joined by some CRT's, including the ART's of Espargarò, De Puniet and Pasini, along with Ellison in his debut for Pul Bird Racing.
